Restoration of My Yezdi CL II

My Crave for owning a Yezdi bike started in the year 1994 i happened to see many guys who used to come to a nearby gym and used to have excellent body used to bring their Jawa and Yezdi Bikes

I also happened to see a bike by the name Sooraj which i still wonder who used to make them for there was only one bike of that kind in the place where i lived (Dombivli)

The other bike which used to run

around was Bullet which used to be my all time favourite but I was afraid seeing the enormus size or the bike and always used to think how they start this bike for i once tried standing on the kick and the it refused to come down

During those days some of the new trendy bikes were Ind-Suzuki and in scooters we could see Kinetic Honda, Bajaj, lambretta, vijay super, tvs-moped's and hero mopeds.

But men with jawa and Yezdi used to rule as they make the bikes looks like a dirt bike and the stunts they used to do on them

Now comes the part where i learn to ride i happened to learn riding the rickshaw which my friend used to own it was a front engine bajaj later i learned to ride a bajaj priya scooter.

Later I wanted to get my hands on a bike and ride one that is when my friend with the yezdi CL II comes in he used to bring his fathers bike and we used to learn riding.

The bike i now own is a 1980 CL II which i bought from a person living in Badlapur Dist. Thane the bike was in a very bad condition the kick and the engine was in a real bad condition and i dont want to say the amount of money and time i have invested in this bike but then i would like you to have alook at the pics which i might be uploading later all about the restoration of the bike which will speeak for itself.....
